Jalal جلال, "majesty", is the complement to Jamal: together they refer to the two aspects of the divine, feminine and masculine, Divine Beauty and Divine Majesty.

| For utmost accuracy, I started with a full grid and then marked my outline with a darker pencil. |

| All is filled with a few layers of Ultramarine (mixed with gold mica), a color I love but that is hard work as it's not opaque. |

| The grid lines allow me to draw the outlines directly: this takes full focus! I do all the horizontals, then turn the paper 90º and do the new horizontals. |
